About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing excellent patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices, clinical knowledge, and a commitment to patient education.

MUST LIVE IN MACON/ GRAY/ JONES COUNTY.
FULL-TIME PHARMACIST (MUST BE A PHARMACIST).

REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Immunization certified.
  • MTM.
ATTRACTIVE HOURS:
  • MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 9:00 A.M. TO 6 P.M.
  • EVERY OTHER SATURDAY 9 TO 2:00 P.M.
  • CLOSED SUNDAYS

SALARY: $70-72/HR (PLUS BONUS)

Duties:
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and provide consultations to patients regarding their prescriptions, including potential side effects and interactions.
  • Manage inventory effectively, ensuring that medications are stocked appropriately and expired products are removed in a timely manner.
  • Utilize pharmacy software systems for prescription processing, inventory management, and patient record maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop pain management plans and provide clinical pharmacy services.
  • Educate patients on proper medication usage, medical terminology, and health management strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmaceuticals, including new medications and treatment protocols, particularly in pediatrics.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, including clinical pharmacy principles and medical management strategies.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management.
  • Excellent inventory management skills to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications.
